Introduction

Welcome to PingJobs. By accessing and using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). PingJobs operates as a lead generation service, connecting customers ("Customers") with tradespeople ("Tradespeople") who are subscribed to our service. Please read these Terms carefully before using the platform.

Definitions

  • "PingJobs" refers to the lead generation platform owned and operated by PINGJOBS.
  • "Tradespeople" are professionals subscribed to PingJobs for job leads.
  • "Customers" are individuals or entities posting jobs to connect with Tradespeople.
  • "Job Post" refers to a job posted by a Customer seeking services.

Disclaimer of liability

  1. PingJobs acts solely as a lead generation platform, facilitating connections between Customers and Tradespeople. PingJobs does not undertake, supervise, or accept responsibility for any works carried out by Tradespeople.
  2. While PingJobs endeavours to verify the qualifications of Tradespeople during the subscription process, we make no guarantees or representations regarding the qualifications, skills, or expertise of Tradespeople at the time of customer engagement or during the completion of works.
  3. PingJobs shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from the works carried out by Tradespeople.
  4. Customers are advised to exercise due diligence when engaging Tradespeople, including verifying identification, qualifications, and portfolios.

Customer Policies


Eligibility:

Customers must be 18 years or older to post jobs on PingJobs.


Job Posting:

By posting a job, you acknowledge and accept that PingJobs is not responsible for the quality or completion of the work undertaken by Tradespeople.


Customer Responsibilities:

  • Verify the identity and qualifications of Tradespeople before hiring.
  • Ensure clarity in job descriptions to facilitate accurate responses from Tradespeople.


Complaints: If a dispute arises, Customers may contact PingJobs’ Complaints Team. PingJobs will investigate reports of misconduct and take appropriate action, including suspension or removal of the Tradesperson’s account.

Tradespeople policies

  • Eligibility: Tradespeople must provide accurate and up-to-date information during the subscription process, including proof of qualifications.
  • Conduct: Tradespeople must act professionally and ethically in all interactions with Customers. Any misconduct, fraudulent behaviour, or breach of these Terms may result in account suspension or termination.
  • Verification: Tradespeople agree to PingJobs’ verification process and acknowledge that failure to provide sufficient proof of qualifications may result in account denial or termination.
  • Disputes: Tradespeople are responsible for resolving disputes directly with Customers. PingJobs will not mediate disputes but reserves the right to investigate complaints and take action where necessary.

Complaints process

  1. Reporting Issues: Customers and Tradespeople may report issues to PingJobs via our Complaints Team at [Contact Email/Phone].
  2. Investigation: PingJobs will investigate complaints and may request supporting documentation or evidence.
  3. Action: Based on the investigation, PingJobs may take actions including, but not limited to:
  • Warning the Tradesperson or Customer.
  • Temporary suspension of the account.
  • Permanent removal of the Tradesperson or Customer from the platform.

Limitation of liability

  1. PingJobs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.
  2. In no event shall PingJobs’ liability exceed the amount paid by the Tradesperson for their subscription during the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

Changes to terms and conditions

PingJobs reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the platform. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
